Our mission at The Creative Academy is to teach, expose, & prepare inner city high school students grades 9-12 for the creative arts industry of Music Production, Photography, & Videography while learning and implementing the necessities of life such as financial literacy and community service. 

Statistics has shown that students who participate in extracurricular activities have a higher level of school engagement, meanwhile one in five American 15-year-olds do not understand basic financial concepts, according to the National Center for Education Statistics.

Participating in The Creative Academy will help students be more successful in school, have the financial literacy to maintain in society, and become self-sufficient and achieve financial stability. This includes being able to save money, distinguish the difference between wants and needs, manage a budget, pay their bills, buying a home, and how to pay for college.
